Custom Grid Spacing
Provide an option where the horizontal grid can be set to be xx pips wide. An additional nice to have would be to have each 50 and 00 level in different colours from the standard grid colour.

Would be great to gauge pips by setting a grid size based around what pip size each trader likes to trade in. Thx for considering.

I would simply love to be able to disable the grid completely on the Apple versions (OS X && iOS)

This is already possible in the TI Desktop platform becuase of the request here which was filed in March 2011 as you can see.
It still holds as "Planned" just because it is not yet implemented in the mobile version. In order to set up on Ti Desktop go to: Options> General Preferences> Chart Background

Thank you for this suggestion. We are planning to roll such a feature in the comming TradeInterceptor Desktop release (it was suggested in our uservoice: http://tradeinterceptor.uservoice.com/forums/94601-general/suggestions/1582055-custom-grid-spacing). Please, specify which TradeInterceptor platform you are referring.

I would really love to has this option on the charts as well but for me it would be either a 5-10 pip spacing that I would like to set.

Here is an image of what a 10 pip grid looks like on my MT charts, as you can see it adds some meaning to the grid. Instead of having a grid lines at random places rather add the option as mentioned, to set it xx pips and to highlight the 50 and 00 areas.
The grid itself then becomes a tool that can be used. http://screencast.com/t/qzXdgFDzQu
